Job Description and Requirements
Field Service Technician
This position is for a Field Service Technician, with a primary responsibility for support of US customers with some overseas travel to support customers globally; for installation and maintenance of all Synopsys owned hardware generation (including troubleshooting and repair of active systems).
- 5yrs preferred experience.
- Testing and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience working in DC environment, knowledge of general safety, PPE are required.
- Ability to travel weekly (70% travel 30% local)
- Strong communication skills are required and
- Experience in a direct customer facing role preferred.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $79,000-$138,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
