Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the advancement of the overarching GTM transformation plan, identifying and mitigating significant obstacles. In market with leaders, bankers, partners, and teams to connect the dots, explains and energizes the vision, build institutional and personal follower-ship; ensures team engagement and collaboration.
- Leads Business Planning process with regions; supports Business Plan process with Segments. Holds Business Unit Reviews and other monthly performance discussions with region leadership team. In market meets 1x1 with Regional Presidents to assess, support and motivate performance. Meets with Partners to review business effectiveness, addresses issues, and promotes areas of needed support. Meets skip-level with other leaders, partners, and team members to assess and inspires performance. Assesses and manages operational, credit, reputational and other strategic business risks.
- Partners with Commercial and Private Wealth LOB/Segment leaders to identify business needs, assesses gaps, prioritizes initiatives, manages/rationalizes capacity, evolves business elements (ICP, reporting, etc.) and allocates resources.
- Provides Chief CB Officer / other TOH execs insights into Regional Banking progress and performance. Case-makes for resources, navigates broad-based issues, champions progress and success. Partners with Recruiting, HR and L&D on strategic people acquisition, retention and development efforts.
- Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
