FTR Tower Lead is responsible for the end-to-end strategic and transactional process design related to finance, operations, people, technology, data and performance management throughout the ITC organization. Responsible for coordinating future state design and implementation activities across Core Financials and Engagement Layers. Finance subject matter expert on projects outside of Finance to ensure coordination and alignment cross functionally. Responsible for driving improvements in end-to-end process efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and remove obstacles to ensure business objectives are met for the improvement of the organization. In scope for this role will be all Corp/SBS, USBL, specialty and Canadian entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process design management / owner
- Define and issue policies and procedures
- Drive the strategic focus and drive functional excellence across the end-to-end process
- Continuous improvement on processes and procedures
- Set strategic direction for department, including process design, policy development, spend management controls, technology
- Partners with business stakeholders (Corporate, SBS and Global functional leaders)
Drive Strategic Initiatives
- Define competencies and skills required to lead the end-to-end process
- Proactive engagement to resolve disputes
- Leading the solutions for recommended process design changes
- Champions and accountable for Innovation projects and deliverables
- Broad visibility, knowledge and influence across the organization to accomplish enterprise-wide goals
Drive Process Standardization/Data Standards/Policy
- Oversight and review of the accuracy, timeliness and quality of financial information and compliance
- Drive visibility and continuous improvement through metrics and best-practice targets
Enable Organizational Alignment
- Global process design standardization across delivery centers and Field operations
- Enablement functional requirements and global implementation support
Leadership Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to make positive/active contributions to assist the organization in achieving its key financial & growth goals
- Ability to build morale and group commitment to goals, objectives and mobilize others to action
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and leverage resources (people, processes and technology) to achieve goals
- Bachelor degree required in Finance related field
Experience:
- 10 years of experience
- Experienced in Sarbanes-Oxley
Professional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of finance principles and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Process oriented with and understanding of business process improvement methods, change management and project management
- Ability to help drive and improve end-to-end process efficiencies and effectiveness
- Ability to implement effective global processes & strong knowledge for managing global partnerships
- Must be able to think conceptually and creatively with limited oversight or direction
- Very comfortable working with ambiguity and translating it into clear logical designs
