Oversee Team of Compliance and Product Registration Specialists – Manage the day-to-day activities of the Compliance and Registration department. Review incoming work and assign to appropriate team members. Communicate with other departments and provide updates to key internal and external stakeholders. Ensure department best practices are followed. Act as point person for vendor/customer issues as they arise. Facilitate growth and development of team members.
Develop and Implement Project Plans – Create project timelines when required. Identify required activities, predecessor activities, responsible parties, and appropriate time to complete various tasks. Track status and driver completion of project deliverables against plan. Escalate when appropriate to ensure project meets required deadlines.
KPI Tracking and Status Reporting – Measure team performance against target due dates. Measure request turnaround time. Report department KPIs to Director and other internal leaders on a regular cadence. Proactively communicate status updates for major projects to relevant stakeholders on the agreed upon cadence, including any relevant performance metrics.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional office setting preferred. Experience supervising direct reports in a service-oriented role highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong critical thinking skills, ability handle shuffling priorities, team management and leadership, effective written and verbal communication, must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), must be able to sit a desk for several hours a day
Knowledge of international supply chain, food laws, and/or project management a plus
