Leads and Directs the Field TA team which includes professional level recruiters who are responsible for staffing health across centralized TA USFS companies. Leading the charge of planning, developing, and implementing strategies to attract top talent to Sysco. Holds the team accountable to their strategic business objectives using metrics and data reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Trusting Partnerships with all business functional area stakeholders by bringing solutions, influencing change to processes and being seen as the center of expertise.
Directs and leads the TAPs that support the staffing needs for over 120 USFS sites.
Using data available (TA Dashboard/Affinix) to analyze and predict trends and or gaps.
Use this data to provide market insights to be shared with Market leaders and site leaders for education of the market conditions. Consistently using this data to tell the TA story
Lead reoccurring strategy meetings with Market Leadership to discuss optimization opportunities and challenges needing their support.
Finding and communicating creative solutions in process or systems to enhance and improve our initiatives to improve process efficiency and improve stakeholder satisfaction
Continuously review and enhance the process flow, and look for ways to improve the overall experience at every level of the process
Provide strategic direction and guidance around the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems in support of the company's strategic business objectives.
Direct, lead, coach and mentor a team of professional level recruiters
Organize and execute team building activities in a virtual environment
Maintain accuracy of data in ATS through routine review and audits digging into root cause for errors
Monitor HC Deficits, pipelines, time to fill, diversity, and quality of hires.
Accountable for delivering effective strategies and meeting service level agreements according to SBS Performance Measurement System.
Reviewed on a period basis
Serve as the subject matter expert in your area by staying current with industry and market trends, recruiting best practices and strategies, and tools and technology to make data-driven decisions as well as recommend areas for improvement
Responsible for execution of transformational roadmap projects for TA to include centralizing remaining de-centralized companies, RFP process, and enhancing job postings and career site.
< >Troubleshoots escalated issues, makes decisions, communicates, and escalates to the Director, Field TA as appropriate Build employer brand awareness with attention and care and a focus on reaching historically excluded groups.
Partnership with ARG leadership to find ways to promote our jobs to under-represented groups in the different geographies
Partnership with Campus, Military and Diversity program managers to ensure inclusiveness in recruitment processes and postings
Ensuring team is adequately trained on the TA processes to properly advise their internal customers.
Providing guidance and oversight on developing SOP’s for the TA dept
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience Required:
5 years of experience in high volume staffing amongst all industries recruiting both general labor and professional level positions
3 years’ experience leading a team of professional level individual contributors.
Process oriented with an understanding of business process improvement methods, change management and project management
Experience Preferred:
High volume experience
Leading in a virtual environment
Shared Services environment
Technical Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with composure and professionalism
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions
Superior verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner and facilitates good decision-making
Ability to conduct targeted searches for difficult to fill positions
Interacting with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
Proficient use of Microsoft Works.
Advanced knowledge in ATS systems
Experience leading teams in a virtual environment
