About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team at Systel. We are looking for a collaborative individual to work cross-functionally with our Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing teams. An ideal candidate will have knowledge of purchasing operations, strong interpersonal skills, and the desire to work in a fast paced environment. A strong candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple deadlines, proactively problem-solve, and be a team player with excellent negotiation skills.This position will be on-site at our Sugar Land, TX office.
The Work
- Review open purchase order delivery dates in MAX for conformance with work order requirements; identity and expedite those that do not comply
- Manage quote requests from Sales and Marketing
- Work with Engineering to find alternate component options for critical shortages
- Own and manage incoming quote requests for cost and lead time
- Identify potential problematic purchase orders in MRP that do not meet the required dock dates
- Identify orders and report daily to management which purchase orders were not able to be improved upon
- Provide updates to management for potential shortages, price movements, change notices, and end-of-life notifications
- Assist in non-conforming material report (NCR) processing (RMA acquisition, NCR replacement expediting, negative receipt updates, weekly meetings)
- Assist Buyer in daily activities
- Assist Master Scheduler in daily activities

Education (requires one of the following)
- High school diploma and 1 year(s) experience in procurement, manufacturing environment, product management, and/or supplier management
- Associates degree and 1 year(s) experience in procurement, manufacturing environment, product management, and/or supplier management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related, with 1 year experience in procurement, manufacturing environment, product management, and/or supplier management
Qualifications
- Ability to operate purchasing applications including Microsoft Suite, Outlook, MRP/ERP/SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
