**Fulltime Finance Manager***
$149,800- $190,900 Salary Range
Purpose of role
To work closely with the US Engineering Operations team and MD North America to produce
monthly accounts, budgets and forecasts to support the running of all US Profit Centres.
• To support the MD North America and the Corporate team on any M&A and post-acquisition
integration work.
• To provide all the necessary financial information and reports to the Group Finance function to
allow the consolidation of the Group’s accounts.
• To provide inspirational leadership and develop the US Finance Shared Services team including
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Systems Development.
• To ensure continuous development and effectiveness of US finance and operations systems and
processes and lead on project UNO implementation.
Main responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development:
• Responsible for developing a US finance shared service team; oversees the team on a day to day
basis, ensuring KPIs are clearly defined.
• Manage the performance of the US finance shared service team, ensuring timely and relevant
training and development of the team, regular on-the-job coaching and technical skills
development.
• Directly influence internal customers through the team, ensuring the team understand Beck &
Pollitzer US’s targets and business strategy
• Implement a range of solutions and team communication tools to ensure goals and targets are met.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through the US finance shared service team to ensure
customer satisfaction and deal with enquiries in a timely manner.

• Plan and conduct team meetings and 1:1’s that inform and motivate the team through cascading
information from senior management meetings, sharing best practice, problem solving and
confronting any underperformance head on.
• Undertake staff appraisals and develop the US Finance team to support the achievement of
business goals and objectives.
Strategic and Operational Financial Management:
• Prepare, consolidate and distribute monthly US profit and loss, overhead and capital expenditure
information.
• Provide advice to the senior management team on interpretation of operating results and trends.
• Establish and maintain a US wide accounting system which guarantees the accurate presentation
of financial results.
• Appraise the US financial position and work with the Managing Director and profit centre
management to establish performance objectives to meet or exceed the annual budget.
• Work with the Operational Manager on pricing policy, US labour rates, client payment terms and
budget quotations.
• Contributes to the policy setting of the group and co-ordinates the development of forecasts and
operating plans.
• Undertakes all monthly and year end processes for the US business in accordance with group
timetable, policies and guidelines, including regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide ad-hoc financial information to support business decision making.
• Review ongoing financial performance of all active projects against budget and assist Project
Managers to correctly account for their costs.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Provide weekly cash forecasts to the group finance team.
• Maintain the fixed asset register for the US business.
• Update all Sales Forecasts with current accounting information and distribute to the business
Merger & Acquisition Support
• Responsible for performing/supporting financial due diligence of potential US targets.
• Develop/implement integration of target accounts into US and Group systems, policies and
reporting.
• Able to run multiple account centers.
• Tax Reporting/Treasury
• Works in relations with advisors to prepare, report and submit tax returns accordingly and on time.
• Knowledge and experience in cash management and cash flow forecasting.
• Ownership of local banking relationships.
General:
• Maintain technical competence and general industry knowledge.
• Maintain and promote a positive, professional image of Beck & Pollitzer in all interactions and by
adherence to all internal policies and all Safety, Health and Environmental policies.

Experience and qualifications required
Essential
• CPA qualified.
• Proven experience in either a Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager role.
• Solid experience of producing Financial Accounts and leading a Finance team
• Able to demonstrate a stable yet progressive Finance career
• Solid experience of undertaking projects/contract accounting
• Advanced Excel user
• Working knowledge of Payroll
Desirable
• Graduate calibre
• Experience using Sage and Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365.
• Experience working in an engineering, construction or other similar service industry.
• Experience of working as a Finance Business Partner.
