Background
Incumbent needed for a short-term Healthcare Provider Data project. The Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and consults with business users to fully understand their reporting needs; generating semi-complex to complex queries and reports. To ensure continuity and efficiency, the Analyst will analyze data, and helps maintain data integrity for varies data. The incumbent must have strong consultative, critical thinking and analytic skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups and ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Consults with end users on mid-level to complex reporting solutions. Consults with end user to determine client reporting needs as to how data can be provided to support business decisions.
• Queries or extracts data from varies sources, modifies, and calculates data in Excel, and other tools to deliver the necessary solution.
• Ensures data quality and usefulness of standard.
• Documents explanations of data and implications of data analyses to users.
• Compile and analyze external and internal data from multiple systems and resources to provide fact-based guidance to the decision-making process.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years experience.
• Excellent ability to understand and document processes and workflows
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
