What are the responsibilities and job description for the LabView Engineer position at System One?
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer the LabView Engineer will lead in the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new traffic safety enforcement products and services. The LabView Engineer will also support the refinement of automated control, test, and integration software for current traffic safety enforcement technologies. The candidate must be able to interact with various design, manufacturing, and operations teams as part of their daily tasks.
Requirements:
- BS in EE, CE, or related field
- 3 years of experience with LabView
- 3 years of experience with developing stand-alone test executables, GUI development, and large software system integration
- Demonstrated skills in all phases software design, development, and documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- National Instruments LabView Certification
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Preferable:
- Experience with optical testing/design
- Experience with training/mentoring
- Experience in test data management and analysis
- Experience with electronics lab equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other test equipment
