Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Burlington MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday on site
Start: ASAP
Duration: Direct Hire
Education:
Associates degree in Mechanical, Engineering Technology, and/or equivalent work experience
Requirements:
Experience manufacturing processing equipment.
Understanding of hydraulics and sensor equipment.
Strong trouble shooting skills.
Experience with PC tools including MS Excel and Word.
Preferred:
Plastic processing equipment experience a plus
Automation equipment experience a plus
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment (Injection Molding Machines, Extruder, Automation Equipment) performing tasks required to build the product
Research and purchase parts and tools to repair broken equipment
Interact with production operators and technical staff to fully understand equipment failures and identify and fix root cause.
Ability to operate hand tools including a multimeter
Perform basic preventative maintenance on our equipment
Oversee specific computer programs that control the machines as required
Plan with Manufacturing Engineering to meet production and schedule requirements.
Provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors and Engineering as required
Support Start up and shut down of processing equipment if required
Support in the installation of new equipment as required
Provide advice or training to other technicians/operators as required
Working knowledge of electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a Production Environment
Liaison with equipment manufactures to diagnose equipment failures
