Job Description

SystemOne in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Salesforce Professional with experience developing and administering Salesforce Classic. The client will be migrating their Salesforce platform to Lighting, so experience with Classic and Lightning is desired. The position can be in Reston, VA or Tulsa. It can be a hybrid schedule depending on location.

JOB PURPOSE
The Salesforce Senior Developer/Admin will be responsible for translating business needs into a technical vision that combines Salesforce standard functionality, customization, and development. This individual will need to aspire to become a Salesforce Architect, eventually responsible for designing a vision and architecture for the overall Salesforce strategy at SageNet.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions. This includes coding and developing components, customizations, or other solutions within the Salesforce instance.
  • Make changes and improvements to Salesforce functionality in support of business needs.
  • Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
  • Enable integration of Salesforce applications with external systems via SOAP and REST based services.
  • Maintain and administer all Salesforce instances, including user access and security settings. Monitor system performance.
  • Develop reports and dashboards.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assign user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements.
  • Debug, analyze and resolve technical and functional problems.
  • Lead the team in technical best practices in Salesforce development.
  • Develop business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Build proofs-of-concept, where applicable.
  • Write and execute functional and end-to-end test plans incorporating real-world scenarios, document and analyze results.
  • Produce user documentation and train users, as needed.
  • Act as release manager, approving configuration and development to be deployed between environments using a DevOps CI/CD tool.
  • Build existing knowledge by participating in ongoing Salesforce training.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 8-10 years Salesforce development experience including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, custom apps, data migration and integration tools like Dataloader I.O and Tibco Scribe.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, JavaScript Developer I, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
  • Experience with Sales and Service Cloud with upgrade experience from Classic to Lightning preferred. Specific knowledge of CPQ a plus.
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems
  • Familiarity with business processes of Sales, Operations, and Logistics.
  • Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work productively remotely or in a corporate office space.
  • Business casual work environment.
  • Occasional domestic travel to other offices.
  • Work normal daytime hours, and, on occasion, outside of regular business hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Be able to sit for long periods of time without issues.
  • Extensive use of hands and fingers for typing and handling equipment.
  • Extensive use of eyes for analyzing data in physical or electronic form.
