*** Job location: on site in Hornell, NY ( 70 miles south from Rochester, NY )
Test Supervisor / Test Manager :
- This position is intended to supervise a team of technicians working afternoon & weekend shifts as required
- Plan and advise daily activities of test technicians in the team
- Will also do hands-on work : test, make adjustments on, and troubleshoot rail vehicles ( railway rolling stock ) and/or assemblies prior to product delivery to the end customer
- Responsible to order test supplies for daily activities, and verify/sign timesheets of technicians
- Good working knowledge and experience with the use of computers, digital multi-meters, chart recorders, oscilloscopes, pneumatic/hydraulic gauges and various other test tools and equipment
Qualifications :
- Experience in supervisory / managerial roles
- Associate degree in electrical field, electrical engineering, electronics or equivalent experience / certifications
- Relevant electrical / electro-mechanical experience in industrial / automotive / residential fields
- Integrated system troubleshooting and repair background.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
