What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Field Surveyor position at System One?
Mountain Ltd. has openings for Utility Field Surveyors to join our team supporting projects in the Woodstock, NH area.
The Utility Field Surveyor will be provided with a PDF export of the clients existing facilities and perform walkout to validate underground span footages, aerial span footage (walkout of existing spans as listed on the prints to confirm/upgrade length, & make/model of all equipment (taps, amplifiers, power supplies, and nodes)

The Utility Field Surveyor will be provided with a PDF export of the clients existing facilities and perform walkout to validate underground span footages, aerial span footage (walkout of existing spans as listed on the prints to confirm/upgrade length, & make/model of all equipment (taps, amplifiers, power supplies, and nodes)
- Surveyor to field validate all cables and specifically validate the correct type of cable correlates to the map by span.
- Surveyor to call out any network areas that has .412 cable in existence.
- Identify constructed plant that is missing from the records provided in the pre-walkout package to be provided as an as-built to drafting:
- Parcels
- Streets
- Lot Lines
- Addresses
- All Network Equipment – Passives, Actives, Nodes, Power Supplies, Cables, Snow Shoes/Storage Loops, Riser Locations, Aerial Pole Locations w/ Strand Connectivity, Pedestals
- All Drop routing information
- Contractor to use Bluebeam program to markup PDFs supplied pre-walkout with updated field data.
- Identify all OSP infrastructure that isn't captured on prints.
- Meet due date expectations on assigned projects.
- Candidates willing to travel are highly desired.
