Overview
Assist the Northwest Range Operations and Sustainment (NWROS) contractor Program Manager and customer by managing Electronic Attack (EA) Adversary Replication through performance of operational Command and Control of Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), Cyber Non-Kinetic Effects (CNKE), decoy systems, and missile launch visual aids or any combination of resources during both daily training and MFE operations. This task includes all phases of EA training, to include scheduling training assets, scenario development and mission planning, event execution management, and post-mission analysis and documentation and reporting.
DUTIES INCLUDE: The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Participate and advise in developing various EA scenarios, utilizing IADS, CNKE, man-portable air defense Systems (MANPADS), and decoys to meet training requirements
- Brief aircrews with the current training capabilities and services the NWROS can provide and brief projected future capabilities
- Maintain proficiency in the operations of all applicable voice and data communications, surveillance & acquisition/ Ground control intercept (SA/GCI), and Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI)
- Direct threat engagements utilizing Command & Control (C2) systems, providing control for manned threats, MANPADS, and SMOKEY Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) as required
- Perform real-time (if required) and final analysis of engagements to assign a Probability of Kill (PK) rating of zero, low, medium, or high
- Debrief participating aircrew on sortie/package/mission effectiveness, incorporating applicable analysis
- Coordinate with the contractor PM on a regular basis
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (in lieu of a BS, 15years of experience in tactical air combat training and EA/EW is acceptable)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in air-to-air tactical air combat training and EA/Electronic Warfare (EW)
- Knowledge of all types of SAM/Anti-Aircraft Artillery (AAA) weapons systems and IADS in use throughout the world to include their capabilities and limitations, command and control and tactics
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the employment of real-world foreign SAM/AAA/SA systems or threat simulators in training exercises to include managing their capabilities and limitations
- Experience with Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC) operations
- Expert knowledge of adversary and allied electronic counter measures tactics, techniques, and procedures (e.g., jamming systems, chaff, flares, High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) employment, etc.) and their effects upon JPARC systems and in turn their resultant effects on EA engagements
- Understanding of cyber non-kinetic effects (CNKE) concepts
- Knowledge of and experience using radio voice and data communications systems and procedures, to include voice and data link radios (e.g., Have Quick-II and LINK16 ops)
- Excellent communications skills and experience coordinating with senior US Military and Government personnel
- Possess a valid driver’s license; must be able to be insured through Company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of your work employment.
- U S Citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI clearance prior to hire and maintain clearance throughout employment.
