Overview

Assists Northwest Range Operations and   Sustainment (NWROS) contractor Program Manager and customer with planning and   training coordination for integration of JFIRES event into various PACAF   exercises including Red Flag-Alaska (RF-A).  

DUTIES   INCLUDE: The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not   limited to and may be assigned other duties.

• Recommend required forces via JNTC and   estimated funding from Joint Training Coordination Program (JTCP) 
• Assist in determining desired learning   objectives (DLOs) to meet accredited UJTL and JMETs 
• Coordinate directly with DoD, US Army Alaska,   non-government agencies and other stake holders, as required, to establish   training objectives and scenario development 
• Coordinate the scheduling of range training   lands
• Assist the customer with the reception and   bed down of non-flying units
• Assist the customer in development of Weapons   Danger Zones for air to ground munitions, and coordinate with appropriate   Army Range Control agencies for surface-to-surface fires in order to develop   a safe, and executable live fire 
• Identify Joint Fires training capability   shortfalls on the JPARC and its systems
• Coordinate with the contractor PM on a   regular basis

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college   or university (in lieu of a BS, 15years of experience in JFIRES and forces   not organic to the USAF is acceptable)
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• A minimum of 10 years active military   experience in JFIRES and forces not organic to the USAF (e.g., artillery,   mortars, rockets, helicopter gunships)
• A minimum of five years’ experience in   applying Joint Fire Support (JP 3-09) doctrine in joint military exercises
• Excellent communications skills and   experience coordinating with senior US Military and Government personnel 
• Possess a valid driver’s license; must be   able to be insured through Company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental   vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of your work employment.
• U S Citizenship required and the ability to   obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance prior to hire and maintain   clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass a   consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record   and Criminal Background Investigation.
