What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulic Specialist position at Systems?
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, service and repair of automotive service equipment while providing exceptional customer service. Hours of operation begin at 6:30am. Experience working with HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent and support, through product installations, repair or service, according to schedules, procedures, and standards.
- Complete product installation, repair, and inspection as directed/trained.
- Follow and comply with processes and procedures while working alone or with others.
- Read and understand job orders in order to complete jobs fully and correctly.
- Be willing to work effectively and be flexible in the scheduling process that can change to accommodate our customers’ needs.
- Maintain a high level of communication with customers and our staff.
Job Skills
- Balancing customer and company needs to make sure that the customer is satisfied.
- Maintain focus on important activities, keep truck and workspace at customer site organized and clean.
- Understand and thrive working with a sense of urgency to maximize service calls and labor sales daily.
Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 5 year’s related experience and/or training preferred. Willing to consider training an exceptional candidate.
Other required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a situation.
- A good driving record with valid driver's license.
- Some experience in field service preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Required to climb and stand on ladders, sometimes for extended periods of time.
- Required to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods of time
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs., 75lbs may be required in some instances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
