POSITION: Maintenance Supervisor
SCOPE: This professional will help develop, administer, and manage preventive and repair maintenance programs. Coordinate the daily activities of hourly mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel. Communicates with plant personnel on overall maintenance issues to aid process improvement. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate the daily activities of hourly mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel. Communicates with plant personnel on overall maintenance issues to aid process improvement. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and promote a safe working environment including the administration of safety program policies and practices as well as the coaching of employees on safe work habits
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment
- Make improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problem solving
- Ensure that maintenance personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated
- Assist with the hiring, scheduling, and supervision of maintenance personnel
- Minimum Associate's Degree preferred
- 3 years of heavy industry experience in a facility that uses vibration analysis testing, lubrication systems for large and/or outdoor equipment
- 2 years of experience in a leadership position is preferred.
- Experience utilizing a CMMS preferred.
