T.H. Glennon is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team in Salisbury, Massachusetts. We are looking for an experienced individual to work closely with our organization. Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities: Maintaining financial reports, records and general ledger accounts; Prepare weekly payroll, journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly closing processes -Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing; Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations; Meet processing and reporting deadlines; Respond to information requests. Quick-book and Microsoft Office expertise, a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily financial operations including: invoicing, and updating sales entries, customer database
- Reconciling and paying all Accounts Payable: verifying and paying vendors, freight carriers and suppliers
- Prepare deposits, balance accounts and update account receivables
- Provide customer service when necessary
- Process payroll, preparing 401K deposits and maintain personnel records
- Oversee Accounts receivables and conduct collection calls when necessary
- Maintain all 401K, accrued vacation and sick time records
- Prepare year - end tax information
- Adhere to all company confidentiality and company policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years experience and college degree. (accounting or finance degree preferred.)
- Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of Quick Books
- Experience working in a manufacturing organization
- Understanding of commercial trucking and reconciliation of invoices, a plus
- Proven track record with experience directly reporting to business owners or Senior Management Team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
