Agricultural Technician

Due to rapid growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced agricultural technician to join our Pro-Agri team based at our depot in Stockbridge. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will be responsible for providing technical support for a variety of agricultural vehicles and will involve working on site and at customer premises. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to continue to grow their skills and knowledge, including attending manufacturer training and completing our Master Technician programme.

Hours: 39 hours a week overtime

Potential earnings: £35k to £50k (this will depend on experience and qualifications, and the range includes potential overtime earning)  company benefits. Job holder will also receive a company vehicle, phone and laptop

Key duties will include:

• Providing technical support for Case IH Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Balers and the full range of implements we sell
• Being part of the Stockbridge team out of hours rota, ensuring workloads are balanced through busy periods
• Assisting other members of the team with difficult to diagnose problems
• Ensuring all administration is kept up to date on a daily basis

 The ideal applicant:

• You will have a technical background and strong diagnostic skills that can be used on a wide variety of products
• You will be a team player but also capable of working on your own initiative
• You will be adaptable and able to work effectively to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of DGPS, guidance systems, ISO bus & telematics would be an advantage
• Full UK Driving Licence
