Position summary T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Engineers, Software located in Snoqualmie, WA will work on state-of-the-art Service Now platform, specifically on the ServiceNow CMDB domain, developing solutions to meet the growing customer needs. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Understand software system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits and development of a full software stack. Understand the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Interact with engineers to design and develop a full software system and gather necessary requirements for automation. Support engineering projects by developing software solutions. Conduct tests and inspections; prepare reports and calculations. Present new ideas which improve an existing software system/process/service. Present new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing system/process/service. Express new perspectives based on independent study of the industry. Review current company processes to highlight questions that may drive process refinement. Maintain knowledge of existing technology documents. Write basic documentation on how technology works. Contribute clear documentation for new code and systems used. Document systems design, presentations, and business requirements for consumption at the engineer level. Collaborate with technical teams and utilize system expertise to deliver technical solutions. Understand ServiceNow tool and design the solutions that supports business goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 10% of the time, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Skill requirements: (1) Design, development, test, and documentation of software applications using web and cloud technologies. (2) Working on configurations, administration and development of cloud applications using the ServiceNow Cloud Platform. (3) Working with Configuration Management Database, Discovery, Orchestration, Service Request, and custom applications in the ServiceNow Platform. (4) Partnering with subject matter experts to design, develop and implement system integrations of various third-party tools with the ServiceNow Platform. (5) Working on system defects and incident hot fixes as support tier 2 level for production applications in the ServiceNow platform. (6) Working with agile software development methodologies. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
