The Financial Compliance Manager role involves supporting the Credit Risk Compliance Senior Manager in overseeing compliance processes. This includes collaboration with the Credit Risk business and other departments for testing, training, and documentation. The role also entails evaluating the impact of modifications to current systems for collection process (Neu Analytics, Provana) and the implementation of new compliance technology solutions. Regulatory compliance oversight is a significant aspect, particularly concerning external collection agencies, ensuring adherence to licensing, FDCPA, and REG F compliance, as well as work standards set by Credit Risk. Additionally, the position encompasses broader oversight through key control audits and ad-hoc audit reviews within Credit Risk operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Significant interaction with Credit Risk team and company process owners to ensure that CREDIT RISK documentation is current, testing is completed and issues are resolved.
- Interaction with Credit Risk , including communication and discussion of status, issues and resolution
- Directly assist selected functional process owners with documentation, testing and evaluation of internal controls.
- Provide ongoing training related to Credit Risk process owners to help ensure understanding and ongoing compliance
- Perform key control testing and work with process owners on issues, evaluation of the risk of failed controls, and implementation of solutions
- Identify and address control deficiencies, focusing on CREDIT RISK related processes and controls
- Work with other departments to understand and assess the impact of new systems and changes to existing processes and systems
- Make recommendations to improve the internal controls and processes of the organization
- Monitor progress and reporting of control deficiency remediation plans
- Administer Credit Risk compliance and key control program
- Provide summary reporting for senior management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or other quantitative field or equivalent work experience
- 4-7 years Direct IT experience or IT audit experience, proven ability to manage small teams, groups or projects. (Required)
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and previous Finance Credit Risk experience.(Preferred)

Washington Pay Range: $127,900.00 - $173,000.00
- The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
- At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
