Key Responsibilities:
Billing:
- Prepare, issue, and manage invoices and billing statements.
- Track and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Payroll:
- Assist in processing payroll in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Accounting Support:
- Provide support for various accounting tasks such as ledger entries, document preparation, and financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Administrative Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the finance department's operations.
- Help with auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an accounting assistant role, or similar, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
