Job Description and Responsibilities For: LTE Foreman
This position reports to the LTE Operations Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The position is “Field-based”, therefore there is no specific work location. When not in the field, you will be considered “on rotation” and typically at home. Expect to be in multiple locations through the year.

LTE Foreman Job Description:
t3 Broadband offers wireless network operators a variety of services such as LTE Equipment Installation and LTE Commissioning, Civil Construction, Maintenance, and EF&I Services. As a Tower Foreman you will be expected to lead your crew in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communication towers and support structures. Along with performing the hands-on field work, the Tower Foreman is expected to manage his crew members, provide feedback to managers, help mentor newer technicians, and continue to help grow t3 broadband.
General:
Show a consistent track of successful projects completed on-time and on-budget.
Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT medical exam
6 to 10 years of communications work experience
Ability to work with a team(s) to perform a wide variety of technical telecommunications construction work
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs. minimum
Must be able to pull your own body weight, plus equipment weight, up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time
Must be willing to work long and unpredictable hours (10-hour days are not unusual) and travel out-of-state as necessary
Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Technical reading aptitude
Skilled in computers and/or mobile devices for submitting Daily Work Reports, Close-Out-Packages and/or Time Sheets. Possess basic computer skills (i.e., E-mail, Excel, Word)
Job Responsibilities Including, but not limited to:
Ability to review CDs/scope and identify/document any out-of-scope items.
Inspecting work performed by team members for accuracy and quality.
Conduct/document daily tail gate meetings
Be organized and maintain good communication with CM’s
Manage the safety and performance of a crew consisting of 2-4 Tower Technicians
Expert in FULL COP process including photos, forms, etc.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT exam
8 years of climbing and tower work experience
Competent with test gear (Anritsu, ODM, and PIM)
Ability to operate capstan hoist and good understanding of rigging practices as it relates to the tower industry
Competent in all aspects of line and antenna system installation, replacement, and maintenance
Knowledge of UMTS, 4G(LTE) and 5G
Trouble shoots Alarms / RSSI issues at sites using supplied sweep gear
Knowledge on the use of a protocol adapter to set RETS and capture the RET logs to submit with COP.
Prepare the JSA and effectively communicate all hazards and rescue plan and assign important task to crew members
