This position reports to the PTP/PTmP Operations Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The position is “Field-based”, therefore there is no specific work location. When not in the field, you will be considered “on rotation” and typically at home. Expect to be in multiple locations through the year.

PTP/PTmP Top Hand Job Description:
t3 Broadband offers wireless network operators a variety of services such as PTP/PTmP Engineering, PTP/PTmP Equipment Installation and PTP/PTmP Commissioning, Civil Construction, Maintenance, and EF&I Services. Along with performing the hands-on field work, the Foreman is expected to organize the workflow for his crew members, provide feedback to the PTP/PTmP Operations Manager, help mentor newer technicians, and continue to help grow t3 broadband.
General:
Show a consistent track of successful projects completed on-time and on-budget.
Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT medical exam
6 to 10 years of communications work experience
Ability to work with a team(s) to perform a wide variety of technical telecommunications construction work
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs. minimum
Must be able to pull your own body weight, plus equipment weight, up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time
Must be willing to work long and unpredictable hours (10-hour days are not unusual) and travel out-of-state as necessary
Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Technical reading aptitude
Skilled in computers and/or mobile devices for submitting Daily Work Reports, Close-Out-Packages and/or Time Sheets. Possess basic computer skills (i.e., E-mail, Excel, Word)
Job Responsibilities Including, but not limited to:
Ability to review CDs/scope and identify/document any out-of-scope items.
Knowledge of colocation and antenna mount designs and limitations.
Conduct onsite meetings with the client and provide details regarding scope.
Track materials installed and decommissioned.
Prepare RMA forms for the return of decom’ equipment.
Conduct Pre-Construction site walks to identify out of scope items not included in the base P.O.
Understand full quality and safety procedures.
Developed management skills in running their team in day-to-day operations.
Expert in reading CD’s/ Blueprints, RFDS etc.
Expert in FULL COP process including photos, forms, etc.
Expert level of knowledge with testing equipment –Anritsu, Fiber tester, PIM, RET etc.
Foreman will be responsible for COP deliverables to the COP team.
