Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the financial analyst is responsible for all month end closing activities as well as the daily administrative tasks in the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting or a related field and a willingness to support all activities for the Company including HR-related matters and daily administrative tasks
\n- Month-end close process: The financial analyst is responsible for managing the month-end close process, which involves closing the books and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded for the month. This may involve working with other departments to gather information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Perform monthly financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial forecasts and budgets for the upcoming month or quarter. They use historical data and current trends to make projections and identify potential risks.
- Analyzing business performance: The financial analyst may be responsible for analyzing the financial performance of the business and providing insights to management. This may involve identifying areas of improvement or cost savings, as well as opportunities for growth.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders, such as investors and lenders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and develop strategies to achieve financial targets
- Review and analyze monthly expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analysis
- Stay current with accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure compliance
