About the Job:
Taco Bell Design, or TBD, is at the heart of the brand as our award-winning in-house creative agency. Our renegade crew of artists, designers, copywriters, and account managers live and breathe the Live Más ethos and are connected directly to the design, brand, and marketing work that Taco Bell delivers to the world. We strive for our fans to love tacos as much as we do and engage them with the brand in new, bold, and innovative ways.
The Designer role requires excellent skill in layout, typography, color, and design theory as well as attention to detail. You will also be asked to ideate concepts and provide a strong POV for the work you create. You will work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and other Designers to help produce new and innovative creative solutions for a range of brand assignments.
Conceptualize and execute on creative marketing campaigns while maintaining brand consistency across print, digital, retail, art and packaging
Assist Art Directors and photographers with photoshoots and production
Ensure files for production are properly built to specifications
Must be highly detail oriented, well organized and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Perform work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing projects to meet deadlines
Must stay current with skill sets and have a mastery of the Adobe design applications along with sketch and comping skills
Must be able to articulate creative concepts to the internal team and provide a strong POV
Motivated to achieve personal and department goals
Stay up to date with industry trends to keep ahead of competitors
Produce consistently excellent visual work
Produce a host of ideas, selecting the best ones and sell them to the other members of the team and to clients
Encouraging others to share their ideas and nurture creativity
Is This You?
4-5 years relevant industry experience
A. degree in a related field preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A full and fluent knowledge of current design tools and software
Confidence to be bold with their work
Industry experience in the design field
The ability to meet deadlines
A background of working well as part of a larger creative team, inclusive of designers, art directors, and copywriters
The ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts
Strong typography skills with deep understanding of messaging and communication hierarchy
Understanding of color theory principles and their role in visually communicating ideas and concepts
A positive and awesome collaborative attitude
A good-natured human being with a genuine love for finding inspiration beyond the computer and in the world around you
