What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Manager position at Taconic?
Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes has an opportunity available for a Manufacturing Manager to review order and production schedules, determine work force requirements, and direct operations through subordinate staff. Ensure all policies and procedures are fully complied with during manufacturing processes. Works on equipment and process related problems, including troubleshooting, new equipment specification and department logistics; improving on Taconic’s capability and commitment to manufacturing consistency and data driven operations.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline or suitable manufacturing-related experience, with training in management skills and problem-solving techniques preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize and adapt, based on changing work conditions and requirements. PC literate with experience with MS Office preferred. Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Should have the ability to manage and implement change in the organization. Should also demonstrate the initiative to anticipate and solve problems proactively and have and instill a sense of urgency to address customer and in-plant issues with customer- and sustainability-focused solutions.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
