We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Manassas, VA surrounding area.

Be part of the key Cyber engineering team that is building new security architectures across a large and critical DoD system of systems. Provide Cyber engineering expertise while understanding architectural needs and finding cyber solutions that can fit those needs.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Experience in scripting languages like Python.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Knowledge with Linux systems and large system development.
- Experience or understanding of basic networking switch/router/firewall/IDS concepts.
- Experience in researching new Cybersecurity capabilities, performing trade studies, and providing expertise to peers and leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
- A desire to create new network and system capability and develop from design.
- Cloud experience such as Kubernetes and containers.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a continuous learning mindset.
