Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Representative & Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our towing business by acquiring new accounts through sales efforts and managing dispatch operations as needed. The Sales Representative will focus on building relationships with businesses and securing towing contracts, while also acting as a dispatcher during busy periods or in the dispatcher's absence. This dual role requires excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Representative:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and towing opportunities within the designated area.

Visit businesses and commercial establishments to promote towing services and secure towing contracts.

Present towing solutions tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.

Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Collaborate with the management team to develop effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market changes.

Dispatcher:

Receive and prioritize service requests from clients, ensuring accurate understanding of the situation.

Coordinate towing services by assigning appropriate vehicles and personnel to respond to calls.

Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they are aware of the job requirements and client expectations.

Monitor the progress of service calls, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.

Maintain accurate records of service calls, including client information, job details, and billing data.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Collaborate with other team members to optimize dispatching efficiency.

Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their service requests.

What we do:

• Dispatch Motorclub Calls/Emergency Roadside Assistance
• Dispatch Priority Calls for Government Vehicles
• Collect any and all payments required by customers using Square.
• Make the calls necessary to keep drivers and customers informed.
• Ensure routes taken by drivers are the quickest and most efficient.

Software we use:

• Towbook (For all calls dispatched and monitoring)
• Verizon Reveal (GPS)
• RingCentral (For phone, text, and fax)
• AAA Salesforce
• Gmail (for receiving dispatcher related emails)
• Google Drive (for reviewing important documents)

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check
• Must be able to work subcontracted
• Schedule must be flexible to company's standards or willing to cover shifts if needed
• Must be able to work holidays excluding Christmas and Thanksgiving
• Must be able to multitask and have problem solving abilities
• Must be able to hold conversations with customers and diffuse negative situations
• Excellent customer service is required
• MUST BE ABLE TO APPEAR AT BASE AT ANY GIVEN TIME

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
