Responsibilities
· Monitor processes, communications, training and systems to ensure safety and well-being of employees
· Provide suitable health and safety policies
· Provide current information concerning health and safety policies and practices
· OSHA reporting.
· Reporting on health and safety practices
· Develop personnel skills and capability through ongoing training
· Responsible for Workers Comp
Requirements
· High school graduate or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year safety experience in manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of OSHA Safety requirements.
· Knowledge of ISO 14000 Environmental requirements.
· Ability to develop good working relationships
· Ability to comprehend quality and safety policies, procedures and regulations
Work Environment:
· Work performed in a Manufacturing environment.
· Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.
Personal Protection Equipment:
· Safety Glasses and steel toe shoes required in all production areas.
· Hearing protection required in designated areas.
