Our client is a leading provider of embedded control applications. Our product portfolio comprises general purpose and specialized 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, 32-bit microprocessors, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) products, a broad spectrum of high-performance linear, mixed-signal, power management, thermal management, radio frequency (RF), timing, safety, security, wired connectivity and wireless connectivity devices, as well as serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), Serial Flash memories, Parallel Flash memories, and serial Static Random Access Memory (SRAM). We also license Flash-IP solutions that are incorporated in a broad range of products.
Job Description
- Interact with customers and our client's field and technical teams to identify motor control product requirements
- Perform competitive analysis, understand trends and implications for motor control
- Develop the new product business case, business plan and positioning to serve motor control applications and profitably grow our client's dsPIC33 digital signal controller business
- Execute product launches including positioning, sales and channel training, press collateral with the marketing communication team, pricing and promotion collateral
- Engage field sales and business development team members in support of early customer adoption
- Ensure customer self-sufficiency through website improvements, collateral development, and training materials
Job Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent with at least five years of experience in a semiconductor company
- Five years of technical marketing or related experience
- Knowledge of the microcontroller-based motor control market is required
- Familiarity with the various types of motors and their control algorithms preferred
- Knowledge of semiconductor business models and microcontroller business required
- Ability to manage projects and priorities
- Travel may be up to 20%
- Must be able to work in a cross functional team environment across world-wide geographies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
