With our continued growth, we are looking for an Underground Construction Laborer to join our team in the Hot Springs / Little Rock , AR area.

The Role
- Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications cabling
- Assist in all phases of underground construction including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weight of construction materials and equipment
- Manage the use and care of all maintenance equipment including power equipment, trucks, hand tools, and ladders
- Operate and work around heavy equipment and machinery
- Maintain safe working habits and work conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and company policies
- Follows safety standards throughout processes
- Sets up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers
Requirements
- Prior underground and / or aerial construction experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license required, Class A CDL a plus
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
- Ability to learn to operate various types of utility vehicles and equipment
- Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption
- Open to a variety of schedules; evenings and / or weekends as needed
- Ability to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as needed
- Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud
- Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time, year round
- Ability to occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, electricity and / or powerlines, risk of exposure to electrical shock, radiation, vibration
- Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools
