How you will contribute:
Lead a team of programmers working on statistical programming activities that are not unique to a therapeutic area with the implementation of strategies to build efficient processes and resourcing plans.
Lead statistical programming strategies and provide statistical programming oversight to deliver deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.
Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and statistical programming (e.g., clinical development, the prescription drug distribution process, etc).
Technical expertise at the enterprise level, with a broader clinical data life cycle awareness.
Excellent communication skills and ability to ‘translate’ across functional lines.
Assist Statistical Programming Center of Excellence to lead to ensure the successful implementation of Statistical Programming strategies and efficient execution of the statistical analyses for the assigned clinical projects.
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with other interfacing Takeda functions, including but not limited to statistics, data management, clinical operations, medical directors, and global program leads.
Provide technical leadership and ensures adequate statistical programming support for assigned projects.
Lead and organizes programming activities for assigned clinical projects.
Assist Statistical Programming Center of Excellence to lead to ensure the successful implementation of Statistical Programming strategies and efficient execution of the statistical analyses for the assigned clinical projects.
Apply strong general knowledge of technical and programming methods with applied experience and can mentorship, matrix, or manage staff.
Strong communication skills to lead team discussions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
MS with ~8 years of industry-related experience.
BS with ~10 years of industry-related experience.
Proven track record of leading business process transformations and organizational culture change as well as driving programming expertise on programs with complex business deliverables.
Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with significant direct exposure to clinical development.
Healthcare business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

This position is currently classified as "hybrid" in accordance with Takeda's Hybrid and Remote Work policy.
Base Salary Range:$137,200 to $196,000, based on the candidate's professional experience level. Employees may also be eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits as well. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and Paid Volunteer Time Off.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
