About the role:
Lead Global Pricing Strategies and operational pricing decisions across portfolio to ensure patient access while maximizing the value of Takeda products. Infuses pricing excellence throughout all strategic and operational pricing activities.
How you will contribute:
- Develop pricing guidelines for launched products & Global Brands
- Govern the processes for implementing operational pricing changes for in-line and launch assets
- Provide contributions to the development of pricing strategies for pipeline products (close launch products) based on analytical assessments of value potential
- Support creation and implementation of Value-based Contract models by Brand and Portfolio
- Cultivate a value-based mindset in all partner interactions
- Define Global Pricing Guidance’s with pricing corridors tailored to products value proposition and environment at each stage of product’s lifecycle.
- Lead Launch Planning process, develop Launch Pricing Guidance in close partnership with Global, Regional & Country partners
- Lead International Reference Pricing impact and risk assessment for pricing and reimbursement decisions globally.
- Evaluate the impact of price change requests and responses
- Develop LoE pricing guidance’s – evaluation of pricing defense strategies globally,
- Explore pricing strategies/access solution
- Use your knowledge on the global pricing and access landscape to contribute to the shaping of pricing strategies for important products
- Support Access Team to define pricing strategy for new products (close-launch products)
- Identify and explain to company partners potential creative pricing opportunities
- Ensure pricing excellence and accuracy across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional (sub-) teams to ensure seamless execution of pricing related activities.
- Expertise in pricing and reimbursement policies including knowledge of the global pricing environment and interdependencies of pricing strategies.
- Strategical leadership in Global Pricing with potential significant business impact
- Excellence in complex multi-criterial analysis with variable uncertainties.
- Strong prioritization capabilities.
- Experience with business processes, able to shape and improve processes.
- Collaborative and cross-functional excellence
- Ensure engagement and agreement of important partners and Senior Leadership endorsement of important pricing decisions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- University degree required, Master’s or PhD in Healthcare discipline or Business
- Preferred•5 years pharmaceutical experience with a preference of direct experience in international pricing and reimbursement
- Minimum 3 years’ experience global pricing or market access role required with LoC experience
- Experience in establishing business processes
