About the role:

Performs routine lab assignments in support of small molecule invitro DMPK activities. This role will be based out of our San Diego, CA site.

How you will contribute:

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conducts routine in vitro DMPK related studies including: plasma protein binding, microsomal stability, reversable CYP inhibition and permeability assessments
• Experience in mammalian cell culture is preferred
• Performs data analysis under supervision
• Conducts basic bioanalytical analysis of in vitro studies via LC-MS/MS systems
• Conducts method development of novel compounds on LC-MS/MS systems
• Under general supervision, performs a wide range of assigned research experiments with
  efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail (e.g. selects methods, troubleshoots routine
  procedures)
• Executes experiments in sequence, one dependent on another
• Exercises technical judgement in execution of specialized procedures and interpretation of 
  results
• Initiates routine problem investigation and recommends solutions
• Performs calculations and basic analysis on experimental results and develops hypotheses
• Contributes to design of well-defined experimental procedures
• Maintains responsibility for routine laboratory instrumentation and supplies
• Maintains good records

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS in a scientific discipline or equivalent, with 0-4 years of relevant experience
• MS in a scientific discipline or equivalent, with 0-2 years of relevant experience
