About the role:
Performs routine lab assignments in support of small molecule invitro DMPK activities. This role will be based out of our San Diego, CA site.

How you will contribute:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conducts routine in vitro DMPK related studies including: plasma protein binding, microsomal stability, reversable CYP inhibition and permeability assessments
- Experience in mammalian cell culture is preferred
- Performs data analysis under supervision
- Conducts basic bioanalytical analysis of in vitro studies via LC-MS/MS systems
- Conducts method development of novel compounds on LC-MS/MS systems
- Under general supervision, performs a wide range of assigned research experiments with
efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail (e.g. selects methods, troubleshoots routine
procedures) - Executes experiments in sequence, one dependent on another
- Exercises technical judgement in execution of specialized procedures and interpretation of
results - Initiates routine problem investigation and recommends solutions
- Performs calculations and basic analysis on experimental results and develops hypotheses
- Contributes to design of well-defined experimental procedures
- Maintains responsibility for routine laboratory instrumentation and supplies
- Maintains good records
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS in a scientific discipline or equivalent, with 0-4 years of relevant experience
- MS in a scientific discipline or equivalent, with 0-2 years of relevant experience
