About the role
Takeda is making the leap to a reimagined future where cloud and digital will completely transform our business.The Senior Tech Project Manager drives the digital strategy roadmap for the Brooklyn Park, MN site, collaborating with stakeholders and IT leaders. They lead the development of strategic business cases and ensure the smooth execution of digital projects, transforming the facility into an efficient, forward-looking organization for diverse digital initiatives. How you will contribute:
Collaborate with functional and Digital, Data and tech (DD&T) Business Partners to identify technical solutions, develop and promote business cases, and ensure projects are delivered within budget, goals, and timelines.
Manage all aspects of IT initiatives, from resources and scheduling to risk and quality, while leveraging external vendors and subject matter experts to mitigate risks and ensure success.
Support other IT project managers within the team or in other departments with methodology and best practice to successfully plan, budget, and execute IT projects.
Actively and effectively manage project spending, resources, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies as well as propose appropriate mitigation actions
Drives new ways of thinking, across groups within the division, to improve quality, engineering productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.
Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required
What you bring to Takeda
Bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant years of experience in to manufacturing systems (GxP Environment)
Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization
Uses critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions
Motivates the organization to maintain enthusiasm in pursuit of the vision and goals, even when faced with resistance
Experience (including hands-on) on large, complex Data, Digital & Technology projects from start to end.
PMP certification preferred
