Our client, a community hospital serving a culturally diverse area of New York City, is hiring a full-time BC/BE Psychiatrists to join the Department of Psychiatry in its CPEP or Adult Inpatient Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team in a collegial environment. The behavioral health program provides services in ambulatory adult and child mental health programs, on-site school programs, continuing day and partial hospital programs, chemical dependency program, inpatient units, CPEP, mobile crisis unit, ACT team and consultative services in other areas of the hospital center. The department collaborates with numerous schools in providing training programs in the areas of psychiatry, psychology, nursing and medicine.

Responsibilities
- No expected calls
- Full time
- Join a team of 20 psychiatrists in the dept.
- Average Inpatient caseload 12-14 per shift
- Average CPEP 15-18 cases per shift
- Graduation from an approved medical school
- Completion of approved residency or fellowship in psychiatry
- Board eligible or certified in psychiatry
- Valid NYS and DEA License

Salary : $240,000 - $250,000
