Compliance Data and Systems, Senior Analyst

Position Summary  The Compliance Data & Systems, Senior Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining data models and dashboard(s) to be used by compliance for monitoring and testing.  The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to problem solving and can quickly gain an in-depth working knowledge of the current state of the compliance management system and business operations and processes.  A successful candidate will identify new methods for mining, manipulating, and analyzing data to drive further insights, automation, and efficiencies to support compliance objectives.   Develop system and operational compliance metrics.  Implement a testing and QA process to ensure system functions are compliant with company policies and consumer protection laws. Design and build self-service dashboards and reports, including the use of visualizations. Participate in the audit and review of business unit operating activities to ensure internal compliance controls are implemented where necessary and existing controls are functioning as required. Assist in performing root cause analyses of identified issues so that corrective measures can be developed Produce data extracts for regulatory agencies, examiners, and internal auditors. Additional duties as necessary to provide support within the Compliance Team. Performs other duties assigned.     Qualifications   Required   Bachelors Degree in business administration, Process Improvement or related field 3 - 5 years of data analytics, financial compliance, and/or internal audit experience.Excellent grasp of Data Entry, Data Analysis, SQL , and Microsoft products (e.g., Excel) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude, including strong organization and time management skills. Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with all employee levels including attorneys, business associates and executive management.     Preferred   Bachelor’s degree in Dara Analytics, Data Management or IT or related field Previous automotive sales and finance experience. Knowledge of consumer protection laws (TILA, ECOA, FDCPA, GLBA, FCRA, EFTA). Experience presenting data to regulatory bodies
