Job Description
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience is required.
- You should have a minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience, such as systems analyst, business analyst, or programmer.
- Insurance industry experience is a must-have requirement.
- Prior experience with LifePRO product development and support is highly desirable.
- You should have previous experience working with large delivery teams that support and develop mission-critical applications.
- It is preferred that you have prior experience in the insurance domain and have worked on waterfall project deliveries with offshore teams.
- You should have experience creating and managing project schedules, driving a matrixed team of resources (both onshore and offshore) to adhere to the schedule, and meet predefined software quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze systems and gather requirements for LifePRO product development and support.
- Program and develop software solutions for LifePRO applications.
- Collaborate with a large delivery team to support and develop mission-critical applications.
- Work with offshore teams on waterfall project deliveries lasting 3-6 months.
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring buy-in from the resources, both onshore and offshore.
- Ensure software quality expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
