SAP BI Architect

Job Description:

• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and concepts within the SAP ecosystem.
• Expertise in SAP BW and HANA Studio, including architecture, design, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Objects Architecture, IDT, and reporting tools like Webi, Crystal, Lumira, Dashboards, etc.
• Experience in designing and architecting enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Proven ability to formulate governance standards and guidelines for design and development of solutions.
• Extensive experience working with various SAP systems such as S4, ECC, MDG, SRM, Hybris, CRM, etc., and modules like SD, FI, PP, MM, PM, EWM, GL, COPA.
• Providing technical solutions using SAP BW, BW on HANA, HANA, Datawarehouse Cloud, Analytics Cloud, HANA Studio, BW4HANA, and CDS Views/Fiori Reporting.
• Embedded Analytics: In-depth understanding of embedded analytics within the SAP ecosystem.
• Experience in implementing performance tuning techniques for SAP BW, HANA DB, HANA Modeling, Datawarehouse Cloud Modeling, SAC, and SBOP.
• Proficiency in data modeling at a conceptual and physical level, including native HANA models, BW-based HANA models, and CDS views.
• Experience with data blending, data snapshot, historical data, data persistence, and virtualization.
• Experience replicating data from source systems to HANA using SLT, SDA, and SDI.
• Proficiency in developing HANA models using Studio, Eclipse, CDS views, and BW and ABAP-based HANA models.
• Experience in integrating SAP Datawarehouse Cloud into the SAP ecosystem, including models and data flows.
• Experience in developing ODATA services.
• Expertise in XS and XS Advanced application development on HANA 2.0, including multi-target applications and HDB modules.
• Knowledge of source code control using GIT repository and version control using Gerrit.
• Good knowledge of SAP PAL, APL, and AFL, HANA's native machine learning libraries, and experience using these libraries on projects.
• Understanding of integration between HANA artifacts and SAPUI5 applications.
• Working knowledge of S/4 Embedded Analytics.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, CDS views, and their use in extending and creating new CDS views.
• Hands-on experience in building SAC reports, setting up connections, designing complex models and stories, using different chart types, tables, images, shapes, texts, and responsive pages.
• Understanding of security requirements and framework for SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Ability to identify and document analytic use cases, translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, ability to lead or participate in business sessions, contribute to project planning, and effectively communicate with top management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience or understanding of implementing projects using Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies.
