As a Physical Therapist, you'll play a crucial role in both our outpatient and inpatient settings. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations and assessments, developing detailed plans of care, and delivering ongoing treatments as prescribed by licensed physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide expert physical therapy interventions to restore function, prevent disability, and optimize recovery after injuries or in response to physical disabilities.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all patient-related information and ensure correct billing in line with departmental and insurance guidelines.
- Quality & Safety: Participate in essential departmental activities focused on clinical quality, safety, education, and operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Engage in team-building programs, contribute to departmental operations like budgeting and clinical education, and support a culture of safety and infection control.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy across various patient populations including geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric.
- Ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of all physical therapy interventions.
- Provide assessments, manage patient care plans actively, and adjust therapies to achieve the best outcomes.
- Formulate accurate medical documentation and coordinate patient care effectively.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
Licensing and Certification:
- Must hold a valid North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
