What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Test Operator position at Talent Space, Inc?
Talent Space, Inc. is looking for a Vehicle Operator to support the testing and updating responsibilities for the Automated Driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems testing team for one of its clients in the automobile domain.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Install Software in the car as directed by the engineering teams
- Able to review and follow provided test cases
- Execute those test cases in the vehicle to collect data specific to various Driver Assistance and Automated Driving use cases
- Collect issues and feedback from the drive.
- Collect all logs and data from the vehicle.
- Upload and report all issues/logs/data to the server.
- Keep regular communication with team members regarding questions related to test cases and address questions that may arise as a result
- Be able to utilize online tools to trouble-shoot via issues or testing questions with project experts
- Support testing and defect analysis within the Automated Driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems testing team
- Provide support to test and evaluate the performance of AD/ADAS system components and sensors, with a focus on US-market specific conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree, or previous AD Test Operator experience
- Automotive and Driver Assistance/Automated Driving knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and Team collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Can speak, read and write English at a professional level.
- Ability to test in vehicles most of each day to follow test cases
- Technical/Computer education degree or relevant 1 years of experience
- Operating system basics - Linux, QNX.
- Demonstrated experience of excellent test planning and execution.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
- Demonstrated values of Self-motivation and Ownership.
- Valid USA driving license with clean record for at least 1 year.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
