Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform procedures such as airway management, catheterization, suturing, and tube feeding
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Proficient in behavioral health assessment and intervention
- Experience with Athena health or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of CT scans and interpretation of results
- Competent in airway management techniques
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and care
- Ability to catheterize patients and provide catheter care
- Proficient in suturing techniques
- Capable of safely lifting and transferring patients
- Skilled in providing tube feeding to patients
