X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using various types of medical imaging equipment. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, mammography, sonography, and CT scans, according to physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Position patients correctly to obtain the desired images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Review images for quality and clarity, ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Keep abreast of advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques

Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge
- Experience in performing X-rays, mammography, sonography, and CT scans
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency
- Flexibility to work in different settings such as the ER or outpatient clinics
