JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Management Analyst is an integral contributing member of the ERP Supply Chain team, responsible for supporting all aspects of the ERP supply chain solution including master data, integrations, configuration, end user support, and support new initiatives of the Supply Chain organization. This role will be responsible for developing functional specification documentation and working with developers to implement new functionality.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Maintain existing ERP configurations and master data to support current solution
- Support existing interfaces with our external partners and operations
- Assist to identify gaps in efficiency and other areas needing improvement
- Interact with application development staff to coordinate implementation of newly created functions and reports
- Collaborate with various business units in organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved processes and functions
- Assess and present solutions through use of ERP systems
- Assist end users in resolving problems and answer questions with minimal supervision
- Define business, financial and operations requirements and system goals working with decision makers and end users
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the enterprise
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather comprehensive requirements and deliver results expediently
- Excellent personal computer skills in all Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Access
- Must have good verbal, written and inter-personal communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, proactively reach out for information when necessary and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams
- Flexible, must be able to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and concepts
- Knowledge of cable systems and operations a plus
Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably with Management/Business Information Systems or Supply Chain concentration; or equivalent training, education and experience
Related Work Experience- Number of Years
Business analysis, planning and reporting experience- 3
Prior ERP experience- 2
Experience preparing reconciliations of differing data sets
SAP experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
