Job Title: Material Handler
Location: City Of Industry, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Mon-Fri -- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (there is potential for overtime) ONSITE POSITION
Skills:
- Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly with assistance
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30C or colder
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Ability to use barcode readers
- Capable of performing basic computer skills
- Ability to receive and separate incoming plasm
- Ability to Identify and separate Special plasma
- Ability to pull freezer work orders and alerts.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
- Able to identify rejected plasma.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
- Able to multi-task in a warehouse environment.
- Possess good organization skills.
- Knowledge of cGMP.
- Warehouse experience would be preferred but, not required.
- Lift truck certification not required.
Occupational Demands:
- Lift materials up to 25 lbs.
- Uses hand truck, pallet jack, fork-lift or motorized vehicle.
NOTE: Hep B Vaccine Notification required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Industry, CA 91746: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
- Materials handling: 1 year (Preferred)
