Job Description
Talento Search Group has an opening for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Gary, Indiana. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate will depend on experience. This is a 1st shift position with hours from 6am-4pm
Position Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and making repairs to electrical machinery/components such as industrial controls, transmitters and antennas.
Experience Needed:
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with a specialty in electrical work - preferred
- Experience working with electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with electrical wiring and soldering
- Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings to perform maintenance
- Technical Degree or related degree in Electrical Maintenance is preferred. Comparable experience will be considered
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Work and consult with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding products
- Limited business travel to customer’s workshops will be required
