Talis Group’s client is a well established international manufacturing company ONE HOUR SOUTH OF LOUISVILLE, with an employee-centric culture and safety as their number one initiative. This fast growing company is located one hour South of Louisville, KY and is searching for a talented Chemical Process Engineer with 5 years of Chemical Engineering experience to join their team. This position will provide broad technical support, troubleshooting, process design and development for the plant. Company offers excellent salary and a generous benefit package, 401k included.
Highlighted Duties:
- Manage process changes and hazard analysis
- Conduct root cause investigations
- Drive continuous improvement activities
- Troubleshoot operating equipment
- Develop and implement safe operating procedures
- Ensure all processes and procedures are ISO compliant
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints
- Assist with capital projects
- Serve as backup Plant Manager when needed
Highlighted Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering required
- 5 years experience in Chemical Process Engineering or Chemical Production
- Prefer experience with batch processes and control systems
- Demonstrated analytical and project management skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate at all levels
- Experience with root cause investigation
