ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
talkStrategy is seeking an experienced Account Supervisor to manage accounts on a day-to-day basis for communications, marketing, public relations, and crisis communications. Your role is to lead your own stable of clients while supervising a growing account team, guiding and coaching for excellence in project management, client service, and communications. Tacticians need not apply. We are looking for a smart, strategic and critical thinker who understands and can lead multi-faceted, sophisticated, integrated comms plans and campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ABLE TO:
- Manage and execute strategic and integrated communications and marketing plans for agency clients
- Strategize, write and edit communications materials and clear, well-crafted client-facing documents
- Supervise client/project budgets and timelines
- Manage and conduct all levels of media relations
- Oversee the seamless integration of digital, social and emerging channels into communications strategies and activations
- Work extensively within the Asana platform to track the status of client tasks and projects along with team productivity
- Oversee account team, providing clear leadership and strong growth coaching
- Manage all client deliverables including campaign elements, spreadsheets, memos, status documents, proposals, and other account maintenance documentation, maintaining high level of quality and excellence
- Coordinate and execute internal meetings, vendor/partner, or client meetings
- Provide editing, proofing, and quality control on client deliverables
- Communicate with external vendors, conduct online research, audit meetings or discussions, and otherwise support the account team
- Provide direct support and feedback loop to Communications Director on team performance, bandwidth, and growth
- Collaborate with Director of Communications to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships with a vision for long-term account health, growth and profitability
- Create synergy and collaboration with internal counterparts and departments for fully integrated output
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in Microsoft suite including Microsoft Teams and Outlook, Google Drive, Asana, and Slack
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university (preferably in communications, marketing, advertising or related field)
- At least ten years direct experience in marketing, public relations or public affairs capacity
