We are recruiting for a Senior Planner to support Supply Chain Planning (SCP) and demand planning processes for a pharmaceutical manufacturing operations environment. Qualified candidates will have expertise with supply chain planning for manufacturing solutions including demand forecasting, planning, and integration with business operations areas and processes. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Location Note: The team is currently working remotely due to COVID-19 and will be located on-site once health precautions are lifted. Candidates must be located in the San Mateo - Foster City commuting area for consideration. 
Job Type: This position is a W2 consulting opportunities with hourly rate and no benefits. Direct corp-to-corp consultants will be considered.

Role and responsibilities include:

• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to evolve demand planning processes and develop solutions to meet supply chain objectives
• Ensure accurate forecasting and planning processes to meet stakeholder requirements to mitigate risks and threats to supply chain security and develop solutions to identify and prevent supply chain interruptions
• Provide oversight and compliance for demand planning in assigned regions and provide metrics and reporting for success
• Serve a liaison role with strategic business partners to meet regional and organizational goals
• Identify, develop, and deliver continuous process improvements through documentation, training, and improvement programs
• Manage supply chain planning for business processes, roles, and security using manufacturing software/supply chain planning system
• Support other areas, as defined

Requirements include:

• U.S. citizenship, Green Card Holder, or H4 EAD work authorization required
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; master's degree preferred
• 10 years of experience with supply chain demand forecasting and planning for a global manufacturing organization; pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Expertise with statistical models and developing advanced analytics for future demand planning and predications
• Experience developing and delivering presentations and reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Experience developing supply chain improvement programs through system and process improvements and training
• Experience conducting reviews and providing inputs for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop documentation to improve systems and processes
• Experience working with organizational partners to communicate and support the implementation of supply chain strategy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and functional team members across all levels of the organization
• Experience working with supply chain planning applications and systems and delivering system improvements supporting a manufacturing environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to optimize processes and manage competing priorities
• Currently located within commuting area to support on-site work (after COVID-19 health restrictions)
• Availability to support business travel, as needed
